Furniture, boxes and old play equipment cleared from a communal garden

House clearance.

When a whole home needs emptying, we do the lot: every room, the loft, the garage and the garden. You tell us what stays, and we carry everything else out and leave the place empty.

WHOLE-HOUSE CLEARANCE

An empty house, without you lifting a thing.

A house clearance is different from a rubbish collection. It’s usually a whole home, often full of years of belongings, and it often comes at a hard time: a move, a sale, or the loss of someone close. We take that seriously. We go at your pace, listen to what matters to you, and keep you updated as we work.

Before we start, we agree exactly what’s staying. Then we clear room by room, from the loft down to the shed, and load everything into our caged vans ourselves. You don’t need to sort, bag or move anything first.

Good furniture is passed on for reuse wherever we can. Wood, metal, cardboard and green waste are separated for recycling, and only what’s left goes to licensed facilities. We’re a registered waste carrier (CBDU425022).

WHO WE CLEAR FOR

Every kind of house clearance.

Families, executors, landlords and anyone moving on. Whatever the reason, the job is the same: an empty home, cleared with care.

  • After a bereavement

A loved one’s home cleared gently, with keepsakes and paperwork set aside for the family.

  • Before a sale

Houses emptied for families and estate agents so the property can be sold.

  • Moving or downsizing

Everything that won’t fit in the new place, cleared before or after the move.

  • Moving into care

A home cleared at a pace that suits the family, with what’s going kept separate.

  • End of tenancy

Belongings left by tenants cleared for landlords and letting agents.

  • Before a renovation

Rooms emptied so the builders can start on day one.

  • Lofts, cellars and garages

The hard-to-reach spaces cleared as part of the same job.

  • Gardens and sheds

Cleared at the same time, so the whole property is done in one go.

ROOM BY ROOM

You decide what stays. We clear the rest.

Send photos and a note of what’s staying, or walk us round on the day. Mark anything you’re keeping and we’ll work around it. If something turns up that looks important, like photos, letters or documents, we put it to one side for you rather than throwing it away.

For a large house we may bring more than one van or plan the clearance over two days, so nothing is rushed.

  • Clear agreement on what stays
  • Keepsakes and papers set aside
  • One visit or several, as you prefer

REUSE FIRST

As little as possible goes to waste.

A full house holds a lot that can be used again. Furniture in good condition is passed on for reuse where we can. Wood, metal and cardboard are sorted as we load and go to recycling.

If you need to show what happened to the waste, for an estate or a landlord, ask and we’ll provide a waste report.

  • Usable furniture passed on
  • Wood, metal and cardboard recycled
  • Waste report on request
HOW IT WORKS

A house clearance in three steps.

  1. Step 1: Show us the house

Send photos of each room, the loft and the garage on WhatsApp, with your postcode.

  2. Step 2: Agree what stays

We confirm the price, the date and exactly what’s staying behind.

  3. Step 3: We empty it

We clear every room, sort for reuse and recycling, and leave the house empty.

FAQS

Questions about house clearance.

Most house clearances are priced by the caged van, starting at £350 for a whole cage. Smaller part-clearances start from our £80 minimum. Send photos of each room and we’ll confirm the price before we come.

A flat or small house is often cleared in a single visit. Bigger houses can take two visits or more than one van. We’ll tell you which when we price the job.

Not for the whole job. Many people show us round or send photos, agree what stays and leave us to it. We just need a way in on the day.

Furniture and items in good condition are passed on for reuse where we can. Everything else is sorted for recycling before anything goes to licensed facilities.

Yes. We clear lofts, cellars, garages, sheds and gardens as part of the same house clearance.

We don’t take hazardous waste such as asbestos, chemicals, solvents, paint, oils, gas bottles or clinical waste unless it’s been agreed beforehand. Send a photo if you’re unsure.

Whatever needs clearing, recycling or moving — we're ready to get it sorted.
