FILM & TV SPECIALISTS

Production waste, handled by people who can read a call sheet.

Take Me Elsewhere grew up on film sets, and production waste is still the work we know best. We clear unit bases, studio floors, location wraps and commercial shoots across London, working to your schedule rather than ours. Early calls, late wraps and the job that lands on a Sunday night are all normal for us.

Shoots throw out a particular mix: cardboard by the cage-load, soft plastics and shrink wrap, catering and food waste, timber and set dressing. We separate it as we load, so cardboard and plastics go for recycling instead of one mixed load to landfill. On several Christmas advert productions we collected and hand-sorted every bit of cardboard on site before it left.

You deal directly with Matt, the founder, from the first WhatsApp to the last bag. And if the postcode on the call sheet turns out to be wrong, we’ll still find you.

WHAT WE CLEAR

Everything a shoot leaves behind.

From a single day on location to a multi-week studio build, these are the production waste loads we collect most often.

  • Location wrap clearances

Last-minute clears from public spaces and private venues, so the location is handed back clean.

  • Unit base waste

Bags, packaging and catering waste cleared from base and crew parking before the trucks pull out.

  • Studio clearances

Sets, flats, props and backing materials struck and taken away, ready for the next production.

  • Cardboard and packaging

Cardboard flattened and kept separate, with soft plastics and shrink wrap bagged for recycling.

  • Catering and food waste

Crew catering waste taken away and disposed of properly, not left in bins on the street.

  • Set dressing and timber

Timber, MDF, flats and dressing that won’t be reused, broken down and loaded safely.

  • Commercial and advert shoots

Short shoots with tight turnarounds. We fit around the schedule, whatever the hour.

  • Events and fashion shows

Front and back of house cleared after events, including one of Central London’s biggest fashion shows.

LOCATION WRAP CLEARANCE

Called in at the wrap? We can usually be there.

A lot of our film work starts with a message from a location manager at the end of a long day. The shoot is wrapping, the location has to be clear tonight, and the original plan has fallen through. Being a small team with our own caged vans means we can often say yes at short notice.

We get the van as close as access allows, load everything by hand and keep the noise down at residential locations. Fast, clean and quiet, with no trace left behind.

  • Short-notice and out-of-hours clears
  • Quiet loading at residential locations
  • Public spaces and private venues

SORTED ON SITE

Greener wraps, without extra admin for your team.

Productions are under more pressure than ever to show where their waste goes. We separate cardboard, soft plastics and general waste as we load, and take recyclables to recycling facilities rather than mixing everything into one load.

If your production is tracking its sustainability, ask and we’ll tell you how each load was handled. Business waste comes with a legal duty of care, and as a registered waste carrier we can provide the waste transfer paperwork for your records.

HOW IT WORKS

From call sheet to clean location in three steps.

  1. Step 1: Send us the details

WhatsApp the location, the wrap time and a rough idea of the waste. Photos help us bring the right van.

  2. Step 2: We arrive at wrap

Matt and the team turn up at the agreed time, whether that’s at base, on the stage or on location.

  3. Step 3: Cleared and sorted

We load, separate the recyclables and leave the location clean and ready to hand back.
